About Flowergirls?

Two questions inevitably surface when it comes to flower girls.
who pays for the dress?
W hat is an appropriate age?
First, traditionally the child's parents pay for the dress, although it's certainly a nice gesture if the bridal couple decide to pay for it instead. When it comes to age, she needs to be old enough to get herself down the aisle (a mature three-year-old is probably pushing it) and she needs to be under that fine line between flower girl and junior bridesmaid. If she is age eight or less, she's probably fine as a flower girl, but if she's older than that, or if she's especially mature looking or acting, you're heading into junior bridesmaid territory instead.
